Proton X90 SUV will be introduced to my country next year?

Haoyue is the second model built on the Geely CV platform, and this platform is also specially developed by Geely for MPV models. The first model to use this platform is Jiaji, but this platform does not support all-wheel drive systems for the time being. Therefore, Haoyue, which uses the CV platform, is slightly weaker in light off-road capabilities (but it doesn’t matter in fact). As a 7-seater model, the space performance is quite important. With 184 PS and a peak torque of 300 Nm, you might question whether this car will have insufficient power? In fact, the weight of this car is only 1,660 kg (top version) when empty, and the weight of the X70 top version is 1,675 kg. So perhaps the power of Hao Yue will be a bit inferior when fully loaded, but in fact It should be enough. (The 0-100 acceleration performance of X70 is 9.5 seconds)

In addition, because Proton is currently actively producing the local 1.5L TGDI engine, it is very likely that the future version of my country will also use the 1.5L TGDI engine. It is worth mentioning that the price of Haoyue in China starts at 103,600 RMB (1.8 TGDI+7DCT version, about RM 65,965.62), and the price of Boyue in China is 99,800 RMB (1.8 TGDI +7DCT version, About RM 63,550.15), so the positioning of the two models is actually not far apart!
